Delete your account

The Long View, by Little Bird Trading LLC.

You only have an account if you signed in with your email address for Premium. Without one, everything you log stays on your device, and uninstalling the app removes it.

From the app

1. Open the latest version of The Long View on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android or Windows where you are signed in.
2. Open Settings.
3. Choose Delete account, then Delete my account.

The deletion happens straight away, and the app confirms it. The Apple Watch and Wear OS apps follow your phone, so they are covered too.

Without the app

Send a request through the contact form from the email address you signed in with, and say you want your account deleted. We delete it and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

• Your email address.
• Your synced history and reason photo, which were stored encrypted.
• Every sign-in: all your devices are signed out, and any unused sign-in codes stop working.

What is kept

• The record of a purchase (the App Store transaction, Google Play purchase token or card payment customer), so a subscription that is still running keeps working and billing and refunds can be handled.
• The list of devices that were signed in, marked as signed out: a hashed device id and the device name.
• The check-ins on your own devices. They stay there until you uninstall the app.

Your subscription

Deleting your account leaves a subscription running. Cancel it where you subscribed: in your Apple Account settings, in Google Play subscriptions, or from the link in your receipt email for a purchase made on this website.
